Abstract: The present disclosure provides a multi-electrode cell frame for an alkaline water electrolyser system. The cell frame comprises a circular structure having multiple stepped sections along a thickness dimension, each with a distinct radius. The cell frame comprises first, second, and third stepped sections configured to receive respective bipolar plates. The cell frame comprises voltage probe slots extending from each stepped section toward an outer diameter, configured to accommodate voltage measurement strips in electrical contact with respective bipolar plates. The cell frame additionally comprises flow distributors positioned between stepped sections and configured to facilitate electrolyte distribution across electrode surfaces. Guide pins are provided for alignment and positioning of fixing strips that secure membrane assemblies in place.
