Abstract: A multi-layer light diffusing assembly system (100) consists of three sequentially arranged sheets that work together to ensure uniform illumination. The first layer is a single polypropylene diffuser sheet (102), which scatters incoming light evenly to create a homogeneous light distribution across the illuminated surface. Directly on top of this polypropylene diffuser sheet (102), lies a single sheet of tracing paper (104), which supports printed legends and softens the transmitted light, enhancing the diffusion effect initiated by the diffuser sheet (102). The third and final layer is a translucent polycarbonate sheet (106), placed directly over tracing paper (104). This polycarbonate sheet (106) is designed to eliminate illumination hotspots caused by the underlying light source, ensuring a smooth and consistent luminance across a viewing surface. Together, these three layers form a cohesive system that delivers glare-free, uniform lighting ideal for display or signage applications.
