Abstract: A multi-modal therapeutic insole for diabetic ulcer prevention and glycemic management, comprising, a pliable insole body 101 to be fitted into a shoe of a user, body 101 being divided into multiple sections including a heel zone 102, an arch bridge zone 103, a metatarsal zone 104, a mid-foot zone 105 and a toe box zone 106, an adjustment means within each sections of insole body 101, to module dimensions and contours of insole body 101 based on generated user foot profile, a non-invasive blood glucose monitoring unit 109 to detect moisture levels and skin contact quality, a thermally adaptive gel pad layer 122 comprising multiple independent gel compartments 111 filled with a phase-change material and embedded Peltier units 112 to operate in cooling mode or heating mode based on input from the thermal sensing array.
