Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention relates to a multi-parameter early sepsis detection system (100) configured for early identification and assessment of sepsis in a patient which comprises one or more data acquisition modules (102) configured to acquire physiological, clinical, and laboratory parameters associated with the patient, a data processing module (104) configured to process the acquired parameters, and an analysis module (106) configured to evaluate and correlate the processed parameters for identifying conditions indicative of sepsis, a sepsis risk assessment module (108) configured to generate a sepsis risk indication, an alert generation module (110) configured to generate notifications upon detection of a potential sepsis condition, and a communication module (112) configured to transmit patient- related information and alerts to external devices.
