Abstract: BSTRACT OF THE INVENTION QXY D W f: MULTI-PURPOSE AND PORTABLE AIR PURIFIER WITH SIMULTANEOUS AIR QUALITY IMPROVEMENT AND INDIRECT OXYGEN ENRICHMENT The present invention relates to a portable multi-stage air purification system capable of simultaneous air quality improvement and indirect oxygen enrichment in confined environments. The system comprises a three-layer filtration assembly including a ZIF-8 coated HEPA filter, a zeolite 13X adsorption bed, and an activated carbon filter arranged in series within a compact enclosure. The ZIF-8 coated HEPA filter enables dual functionality of particulate matter removal and adsorption of toxic gases such as nitrogen dioxide and sulphur dioxide. The zeolite 13X layer facilitates selective adsorption of nitrogen and moisture, contributing to indirect oxygen enrichment, while the activated carbon filter removes residual volatile organic compounds and odours. The system is supported by a high-speed air circulation unit ensuring efficient airflow through the filtration stages. The invention provides a low-cost, portable alternative to conventional air purifiers and oxygen concentrators, suitable for indoor applications including hospitals, offices, and residential spaces.
