Abstract: ABSTRACT MULTI-SENSOR SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MONITORING AND EVALUATING SLEEP QUALITY A multi-sensor system and method for monitoring and evaluating sleep quality are disclosed. The system includes a sensor module having a heart-rate sensor, a motion sensor and a sound sensor, whose outputs are electrically connected to input terminals of a microcontroller. A communication module is electrically connected to the microcontroller and wirelessly links it to a cloud platform having a database. A display device is communicatively coupled to the cloud platform. The microcontroller performs noise filtering, anomaly detection, signal smoothing and timestamp synchronization on the sensed data before transmission. The stored data is rated using a weighted scoring model to provide a sleep-quality score, sleep disturbances and recommendations on the display device. The system is affordable, modular and customizable. (FIG. 1)
