Abstract: Abstract Disclosed is a multimodal virtual interview assessment system comprising a self-adjusting interview assessment terminal and a server. The terminal comprises a candidate-facing display, an input interface, a microphone array, a depth-sensing unit, and a motorized camera assembly to collect text, audio, and video responses during a virtual interview session under adjusted capture conditions. The server receives the collected responses, processes the text response for contextual relevance, answer coherence, communication quality, and technical understanding, processes the audio response for fluency, tone, clarity, and speaking pace, and processes the video response for facial expression, eye contact, posture, engagement behaviour, and non-verbal communication cues. The server combines the processed outputs into a unified candidate-performance representation, generates assessment scores, produces a structured performance report, and compares scores across repeated interview sessions to track candidate progress.
