Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a system (100) for non-invasive, real-time multispectral analysis of hair for biomarker sensing includes a multispectral optical sensing unit (102) disposed within an optical chamber assembly (106) and configured to acquire spectral reflectance data from a hair sample across multiple wavelength channels. An illumination source (104) is optically aligned with the multispectral optical sensing unit (102) to provide controlled and uniform illumination, wherein the optical chamber assembly (106) ensures ambient light isolation and fixed optical geometry for repeatable measurements. An embedded processing unit (108) is electrically coupled to the sensing unit (102) to control operation and synchronize spectral data acquisition. The embedded processing unit (108) is further configured to preprocess the acquired data, perform environmental compensation, extract spectral features, and process the features to estimate biochemical and physiological biomarkers including melanin, keratin, cortisol, hydration levels, and white-hair percentage in real time.
