Abstract: The present invention relates to a nanomaterial-based biosensor system for rapid and sensitive detection of disease-associated biomarkers in biological samples. The system comprises a conductive sensing substrate having functionalized nanomaterial-coated electrodes, a biorecognition layer configured to selectively bind target biomarkers, a microfluidic sample handling assembly, an electrochemical signal acquisition module, and a processing unit configured to analyze electrical responses and generate diagnostic results. Nanomaterials including graphene, carbon nanotubes, metal nanoparticles, or combinations thereof enhance signal amplification, sensitivity, and detection accuracy. The processing unit performs signal conditioning, calibration, and quantitative biomarker estimation, while a communication interface enables transmission of diagnostic information to external devices or healthcare platforms. The biosensor supports multiplex biomarker detection, requires minimal sample preparation, provides diagnostic results within a short analysis period, and is suitable for point-of-care testing, remote healthcare, disease surveillance, and personalized clinical monitoring.
