Abstract: ABSTRACT A TOPICAL HERBAL ANTI-INFLAMMATORY ANALGESIC COMPOSITION COMPRISING NAVARA RICE GRAIN EXTRACT AND A PROCESS THEREOF A non-addictive topical anti-inflammatory and analgesic composition is disclosed, comprising an extract of unpolished Navara rice (Oryza sativa L.) grain (2–9% w/w) together with3%), turmeric oil (0.5–3%) and castor oil (2–8%), optionally together with further botanical co-actives including black-cumin (Nigella sativa) oil, all in cosmetically / pharmaceutically acceptable excipients, and free of synthetic anti-inflammatory drugs. The composition is provided as an oil-in- water cream (pH 5.0–6.5) and as an anhydrous balm (m.p. 40–45 °C), with processes for their preparation. The defined Navara-anchored combination produces near- complete inhibition of carrageenan-induced paw oedema (93.36% at 3 h, mean ± SD), comparable to a diclofenac standard (96.65%) and significantly exceeding the otherwise-identical non-Navara base composition (53.39%) and the untreated control (3.00%), and engages five inflammatory / nociceptive targets (TNF-a, TRPV1, COX-2, MMP-13 and Keap1–Nrf2) in molecular docking, evidencing a significant, Navara-contributed multi-target enhancement of anti-inflammatory activity nano- liquorice cosmetic composition.
