Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure relate to a network function for wireless communication, comprising: at least one memory; and at least one processor coupled with the at least one memory and configured to cause the network function to: apply a provisioning configuration, the provisioning configuration being a member of a set of provisioning configurations; generate a Quality of Service (QoS) request configuration for an Application Server (AS) session, the AS session for serving Application Layer Forward Error Correction (AL-FEC) encoded data, the QoS request configuration comprising an AL-FEC information element for the AS session, the AL-FEC information element based on the applied provisioning configuration and a dynamic policy; request, from a second network function, a QoS flow for the AS session based on the QoS request configuration; subscribe to the second network function for a set of one or more network events corresponding to the QoS flow; and expose a network assistance service and a dynamic policy service to a consumer function, the network assistance service providing network assistance information of the QoS flow.
