These signals are processed by a prosthetic limb control unit (PLCU), which translates them into movement commands for the prosthetic limb. The system includes a sensor array integrated into the prosthetic limb, featuring sensors for temperature, pressure, and vibration to provide sensory feedback. A motor control system, consisting of actuators and gearboxes, executes the movement commands, while a power management unit optimizes energy consumption to extend battery life. The NIM can be externally placed or implanted, and the PLCU employs advanced algorithms for signal processing.
