MUMBAI, India, July 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641080849 A) filed by Vellore Institute Of Technology, Chennai on June 30, 2026, for Neural Learning System.
Inventors include Sahaya Beni Prathiba; Kalyanasundaram V; Keerthi Aj; and Yuvan Shankar Babu K.
The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a system (100) and a method (1000) of neural learning. The system (100) performs subconscious neural learning through adaptive monitoring and stimulation operations during sleep in integration with a wearable device (202). The wearable device (202) positions an EEG electrode (302) and a stimulation electrode (306) around targeted scalp regions for simultaneous sensing and stimulation. An EEG sensor array (104) captures neural activity signals, while a signal acquisition and conditioning unit (108) amplifies, filters, and digitizes acquired EEG data. The system (100) determines sleep phases, generates structured stimulation templates, and controls stimulation timing based on neural activity patterns. A transcranial stimulation interface (106) delivers waveform-based electrical stimulation corresponding to encoded learning content and an impedance monitoring circuit (114) supervises electrode contact quality. The system (100) achieves adaptive subconscious learning through synchronized neural stimulation, real-time EEG monitoring, and personalized memory reinforcement.
