MUMBAI, India, July 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611064635 A) filed by Geeta University on May 22, 2026, for Neuroadaptive Learning Assistant For Real-Time Emotion And Cognitive State-Based Educational Personalization.

Inventors include Mr. Anurag Vashist; and Ms. Priyanka Kaushik.

The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.

Abstract: NEUROADAPTIVE LEARNING ASSISTANT FOR REAL-TIME EMOTION AND COGNITIVE STATE-BASED EDUCATIONAL PERSONALIZATION Abstract of the Invention The invention relates to a neuroadaptive learning assistant system for real-time personalization of educational content based on multimodal cognitive and emotional state detection. The system captures learner data using non-invasive sensors including eye-tracking, facial expressions, typing behavior, mouse dynamics, and optional physiological signals such as EEG and HRV. The collected data is processed to extract features representing attention, engagement, cognitive load, fatigue, and emotional states. A neuroadaptive engine applies machine learning-based multimodal fusion to classify learner state and determine adaptive instructional responses. A content delivery module dynamically adjusts learning material in terms of difficulty, pacing, modality, and sequencing. A feedback loop continuously updates learner profiles and improves system performance over time. The invention enhances engagement, reduces cognitive overload, and improves learning outcomes through real-time adaptive and emotion-aware educational personalization.
