Abstract: Neuroadaptive User Interfaces Using Real-Time Cognitive Load Estimation with Deep Learning is the proposed invention. The present invention discloses a neuroadaptive user interface system that intelligently adapts digital interfaces by continuously estimating user cognitive load using a Transformer-based deep learning architecture. The system integrates multimodal physiological and behavioural data collected from wearable EEG sensors, eye-tracking devices, heart rate variability monitors, galvanic skin response sensors, and user interaction logs. Then, with the help of self-attention mechanisms, Transformer network can learn complex temporal relationships of heterogeneous signals to estimate the cognitive workload in real-time. An adaptive interface engine dynamically adapts interface complexity, information density, visual presentation, timing of notifications and interaction strategies based on the predicted cognitive state with the aim to reduce mental fatigue while improving task efficiency and user experience. An Explainable AI component provides reasons for interface modifications and a personalised incremental learning module enhances adaptation policies for each user. Edge AI deployment ensures low latency processing, improved privacy, and dependable operations in healthcare, education, industrial automation, transportation, and intelligent human-computer interaction environments.
