Abstract: ABSTRACT A multimodal rehabilitation board (“Neurocore 3-in-1 Rehabilitation Board”) is disclosed, consisting of a single base plate carrying a motor function module, a coordination module and a cognitive module for the simultaneous rehabilitation of motor, coordination and cognitive function in patients with upper-limb dysfunction due to neurological disorders such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, cerebral palsy and spinal cord injury. The motor function module comprises a hand extensor strengthening band, a button-manipulation set-up and a door-latch system; the coordination module comprises a ring-placement arrangement and a card stacking-and-sorting arrangement; the cognitive module comprises a color-switch mechanism and a shape-matching arrangement. With repetitive, task-oriented and multisensory simultaneous engagement with these modules, the board promotes neuroplasticity, improves hand-eye coordination, dexterity and cognitive abilities, and enhances the voluntary motor control, while being portable
