Abstract: Provided is an Ni-plated surface-treated steel sheet comprising a steel sheet and an Fe-Ni-Cu-Cr layer formed on at least one surface of the steel sheet, wherein, when the Cu intensity is continuously measured in the depth direction from the front surface side of the Fe-Ni-Cu-Cr layer by radio-frequency glow discharge optical emission spectrometry (GDS), the ratio IRCu-0.1d of the Cu intensity InCu-0.1d at a position 0.1 µm in depth from the front surface side with respect to the Cu intensity InCu-steel in the steel sheet is at least 0.5 and less than 3.0.
