Abstract: Nickel–Titanium Grooved Retrieval System for Fractured Endodontic Instruments relates to a Nickel–Titanium (NiTi) retrieval instrument for removing fractured endodontic files from root canals. The instrument comprises a proximal shank head (1), neck portion (2), tubular body (3), tapered transition zone (4), and a distal working region having a hollow lumen (9) terminating in a distal opening (8). The hollow lumen (9) includes internal engagement structures comprising helical grooves (5) and a negative cross-sectional profile configured to mechanically engage and retain fractured instruments. The profile may vary in geometry and dimensions to correspond with different endodontic file systems. A distal cutting rim (6) and cutting edge (7) facilitate controlled advancement around the fractured fragment while minimizing dentin removal. The super-elastic NiTi construction enables adaptation to curved canals, providing secure engagement, reduced slippage, and efficient retrieval of fractured endodontic instruments
