MUMBAI, India, July 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641082764 A) filed by Sr University on July 06, 2026, for Non-Electrical Solar Tracking System And Method Thereof.
Inventors include K. Santhosh Kumar; and Mr. D Sai Shashank.
The application for the patent was published on July 10, 2026, under issue no. 28/2026.
Abstract: NON-ELECTRICAL SOLAR TRACKING SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREOF ABSTRACT A non-electrical solar tracking system (100) is disclosed. The system (100) comprising a torsion spring (102) to store mechanical energy; a winding shaft (104) coupled with the torsion spring (102); a wind-up key (106) to manually rotate the winding shaft (104); a wind-driven turbine mechanism (108) to automatically rewind the torsion spring (102) using wind energy; a gear train (110) to transmit stored mechanical energy; a solar panel holder (112) rotationally mounted over a support frame (114); and a rotating support arm (116) to continuously rotate the solar panel holder (112) in accordance with apparent movement of the sun over substantially a twenty-four-hour cycle. The system (100) stores mechanical energy, regulate release of the stored mechanical energy, and provide controlled rotational displacement of the solar panel holder (112) to improve solar energy collection efficiency. Claims: 10, Figures: 2 Figure 1 is selected.
