Abstract: The invention provides a sustainable method for producing potassium-enriched vermicompost by utilizing banana pseudo-stem waste. Cow urine is applied to enhance microbial activity, and earthworms (Eisenia fetida) decompose the mixture into high-quality compost. The resultant vermicompost is rich in potassium, nitrogen, and phosphorus, improving soil fertility and supporting crop productivity. This eco-friendly solution offers a cost-effective alternative to chemical fertilizers, particularly benefiting potassium-intensive crops like black rice by enhancing yield, quality, and nutritional content. It also promotes effective waste management and sustainable farming practices.
