Abstract: Abstract The present invention relates to the simple synthesis of PEI stabilized Pd4S NPs using microwave assisted solvothermal (MW-ST) method at 180 The as-prepared PEI capped Pd4S NPs was tested by XRD, FT-IR, FE-SEM, FE-TEM, XPS, and UV-vis spectral techniques. The crystalline nature and phase composition identification by XRD. The morphology and particle size were characterized by FE-SEM, FE-TEM microscopic techniques. Higher catalytic activity was achieved by the synergistic effect of the PEI@Pd4S and the photodegradation rate was evaluated by UV-vis spectroscopy. This reaction kinetics followed pseudo-first-order kinetics. Apparent rate constant (A^app) is an important criterion for evaluating the catalytic rate.
