Abstract: The patent disclosure covers Novel System, Design and Method of a Multipurpose Intelligent Public Transportation System for Offline Ticketing and Secure OR-Based Ticket Validation. Public transportation ticketing has traditionally relied on either physical tickets or continuously connected digital systems, both of which run into difficulty once passengers or vehicles move beyond dependable network coverage. This project presents a multipurpose intelligent ticketing framework that supports complete offline ticket issuance and Quick Response (QR) code validation, removing the dependence that conventional systems place on constant internet access. The architecture brings together four principal components — a passenger-facing mobile application, a driver and conductor validation module, an administrator dashboard, and an embedded offline processing unit — that together allow tickets to be generated, encrypted, and verified without contacting a remote server at any stage. When a passenger requests a ticket, the fare is calculated locally, a uniquely identifiable ticket record is created, and the record is encoded into a QR payload secured through a hybrid of symmetric and asymmetric cryptography, combined with time-bound tokens and device-bound signatures. This layered protection makes each ticket resistant to tampering and difficult to duplicate. Validation takes place entirely on the conductors device through .a local verification engine, and once network connectivity is restored, the accumulated transaction data is synchronized with a central cloud repository. The system additionally supports GPS-based route tracking, passenger analytics, an embedded frauddetection module, and a digital audit trail, resulting in a ticketing solution that is inexpensive, scalable, and functional irrespective of network availability, spanning urban, rural, and even emergency transport scenarios. The design also leaves room for future enhancement through artificial intelligence, blockchainbased record keeping, and biometric authentication.
