Abstract: A method includes: receiving a kernel of a first layer of a trained neural network system, wherein the first layer kernel is non-empty; generating additional data based on the kernel of the first layer of the trained neural network system, where the additional data is configured so that the trained neural network system produces desired outputs based on either: inputting original data to the trained neural network system, or inputting the obfuscated data to the trained neural network system, where the obfuscated data includes the original data combined with the additional data; and storing the additional data for use in providing obfuscated data.
