MUMBAI, India, July 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641062551 A) filed by Saveetha Institute Of Medical And Technical Sciences on May 18, 2026, for Offline Voice Recognition Based Home Automation.

Abstract: In response to the growing need for efficient and reliable smart home solutions, our project focuses on developing an innovative Offline Voice Recognition Based Home Automation System. This system is designed to provide seamless control of home appliances through pre-trained voice commands, processed entirely offline using the VC02 voice recognition module. Unlike traditional systems that depend on cloud services and internet connectivity, our design ensures immediate and secure operation without external dependencies. By integrating a 4-channel relay module, users can manage multiple appliances simultaneously, offering both convenience and energy efficiency. The offline architecture not only reduces latency but also safeguards user privacy by eliminating the transfer of voice data to external servers. This system addresses key limitations of conventional smart home solutions by delivering real-time performance and reliability, ultimately improving everyday life in diverse living environments
