Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention discloses OmniShine, a quad-ended dental burnishing instrument integrating four working ends into a single ergonomic handle. The top bifurcated end carries a small ball burnisher (1.0 mm diameter) and a large ball burnisher (1.5 mm diameter), each mounted on diverging shanks at 180 degrees to one another. The bottom bifurcated end carries a small cone burnisher (tip diameter 0.8 mm, length 2.0 mm) and a large cone burnisher (tip diameter 1.2 mm, length 2.5 mm), similarly arranged at 180 degrees. Total instrument length is approximately 160-170 mm. The handle incorporates a knurled grip for precision control. Fabricated from biocompatible, corrosion-resistant stainless steel, the instrument is autoclave-compatible. OmniShine eliminates multiple instrument exchanges, accommodates varying cavity dimensions through built-in size versatility, and enhances clinical efficiency in amalgam carving, restorative finishing, and endodontic procedures.
