Abstract: OPERATION STATUS PROVISION OF MOBILE WIRELESS ACCESS BACKHAUL Example embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to operation status provision of mobile wireless access backhaul (MWAB) from an application function (AF). A method comprises receiving, from a second apparatus, an indication of an operation status change of a wireless access backhaul (WAB) network node that is initiated by an application function; in accordance with a determination that the indication indicates an operation status of the WAB network node is off, removing respective identifiers of at least one cell associated with the WAB network node for a cell selection; and transmitting, to the second apparatus, a measurement report for initiating a handover to a further network node.
