Abstract: Provided is an optical fiber ribbon having a grating formed by a simpler method. The optical fiber ribbon comprises: a plurality of single-core coated optical fibers that are arranged in parallel; and a tape layer that covers the single-core coated optical fibers and that partially connects the adjacent single-core coated optical fibers. The single-core coated optical fibers have, in the longitudinal direction of the single-core coated optical fibers, a grating portion based on a plurality of strain sections formed at fixed intervals in the tape layer.
