The application for the patent was published on August 14, 2026, under issue no. 33/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a novel multi-component immediate-release tablet comprising paracetamol, quercetin, and chrysin for the management of osteoarthritis- associated pain while minimizing oxidative stress-induced hepatotoxicity. The formulation utilizes an optimized wet granulation process incorporating polyvinylpyrrolidone K30 as a binder and crospovidone as a superdisintegrant. The optimized formulation demonstrated excellent flow properties, adequate mechanical strength, rapid disintegration, more than 98% drug release within 30 minutes, and satisfactory stability under accelerated storage conditions. The invention provides a stable, reproducible, and pharmaceutically robust oral dosage form with potential therapeutic advantages over conventional paracetamol formulations.
