MUMBAI, India, June 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202617059824 A) filed by Brose Fahrzeugteile Se & Co. on May 11, 2026, for Overcurrent Protection Circuit.

Inventor includes Kocowicz, Arkadiusz.

The application for the patent was published on June 12, 2026, under issue no. 24/2026.

Abstract: The invention relates to an overcurrent protection circuit (40) for a multiphase rotary current having a number of phase currents (IU, IV; IW), the overcurrent protection circuit having a voltage source (42) for providing a supply voltage (UV) with respect to a reference potential (UB), a reference voltage (URef, URef') as a threshold value for the overcurrent protection, an ammeter (44) for recording the individual phase currents (IU, IV; IW) as measured signals (IMessU, IMessV, IMessW), a voltage peak detector (50) into which the measured signals (IMessU, IMessV, IMessW) of the phase currents (IU, IV, IW) are fed, and which generates a detector signal (DS) that corresponds substantially to the measured signal (IMessU, IMessV, IMessW) having the highest voltage value, and a comparator (62) that is coupled to the supply voltage (UV) and the reference potential (UB) and to which the reference voltage (URef') and the detector signal (DS) are applied, the output signal (A) from said comparator being pulled to the reference potential (UB) when the detector signal (DS) is greater than the reference voltage (URef').
