Abstract: A paint touch-up system (100) for localized automotive surface repair includes a paint gun (110) having a paint reservoir (114) and a trigger mechanism (112), a nozzle assembly (120) coupled to the paint gun (110) and having interchangeable nozzles with different nozzle hole geometries corresponding to different viscosities of an automotive coating material, and a set of solvent-resistant templates (130) adapted to be positioned over a damaged region of a vehicle surface to confine discharged coating material to the damaged region. The paint gun (110) is configured to selectively discharge at least a base coat and a clear coat through a selected one of the interchangeable nozzles.
