Abstract: PARALI-WASTE BASED SURFACTANT AND PROCESS THEREOF ABSTRACT In view of the increasing emphasis on biowaste valorization and effective Parali management (Stubble burning), this study reports, for the first time, the synthesis of sugar- based detergent materials from agricultural residues such as rice bran, wheat husk, sugarcane bagasse, and rice straw through an ultrasonic-assisted, solid-supported sulphuric acid (SSA) catalytic approach. The resulting detergent exhibits eco-friendly characteristics, low biotoxicity, and favorable surfactant performance, including reduced surface tension, high wettability, controlled foaming with rapid collapse, and good aqueous solubility. The proposed approach directly supports multiple United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption & Production) through waste-to-product conversion, SDG 13 (Climate Action) by offering an alternative to open-field stubble burning, SDG 6 (Clean Water & Sanitation) via biodegradable, low-foam detergents, and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation & Infrastructure) through the adoption of green, scalable catalytic technologies. Overall, this work demonstrates a viable and sustainable strategy for converting agricultural waste into biodegradable detergent materials using ultrasonic-assisted solid acid catalysis, with significant environmental, economic, and societal benefits.
