Abstract: A table-mounted mechanical dental flask separation device designated ParaSplit is disclosed herein. The device comprises a central high-torque threaded screw, dual parallel stabilizer rods, an ergonomic cross-bar T-handle, a rigid stainless steel vertical frame, and a stable horizontal base plate, all components fabricated exclusively from stainless steel to ensure structural durability, corrosion resistance, and longevity under standard dental laboratory operating conditions. Mechanical engagement with the dental flask is established through two compact male keys projecting from the machine frame that slide into two corresponding female keyway slots incorporated into the upper and lower halves of the modified flask. Upon rotation of the T-handle, the central threaded screw advances and drives the flask halves apart along a strictly parallel and perpendicular separation plane. The dual stabilizer rods flanking the central screw prevent angular tilt or rotational deviation throughout the entire range of flask separation travel. The minimum key separation achievable upon full screw advancement corresponds precisely to the internal keyway slot spacing of the flask, ensuring complete and controlled deflasking without mechanical over-travel or impact force. The device requires no electrical power, pneumatic supply, or complex technical training. ParaSplit delivers a precise, repeatable, ergonomic, and damage-free solution for the deflasking stage of denture fabrication in prosthetic dental laboratories.
