Abstract: The present disclosure provides a device (100) for secure retention and rapid retrieval of a reflex hammer. The device (100) includes a unitary body (102) constructed from a sterilizable polymeric material (104), including a mounting base portion (106) and a retention portion (108). The mounting base portion (106) is provided with at least one through-aperture (106-2) to receive a fastener (106-2A) for fixed attachment to a support surface (106-2B). The retention portion (108) defines an open-top slot (108-2) extending from an upper insertion mouth (108-2A) to a lower seating region (108-2C). A curved internal wall (108-2B) within the slot is configured to grip a handle shaft (110) of the reflex hammer through passive frictional engagement in the absence of active mechanical elements. Unlike traditional storage techniques, this approach utilizes a narrowing static geometry to facilitate immediate, one-handed retrieval while maintaining instrument sterility in clinical and emergency settings.
