MUMBAI, India, Aug. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621073614 A) filed by Ankur Jain; and Anindita Tiwari on June 13, 2026, for Passive Extended-Duration Battery Preservation System Using Thermal Buffering Architecture.
Inventor includes Ankur Jain.
The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT PASSIVE EXTENDED-DURATION BATTERY PRESERVATION SYSTEM USING THERMAL BUFFERING ARCHITECTURE The present invention relates to a passive battery preservation system (100) and method (200) for maintaining one or more electrochemical cells (102) within a preservation temperature range without active cooling. The system (100) comprises a dielectric immersion fluid (104) surrounding the one or more electrochemical cells (102), a phase change material (106) disposed in thermal communication with the dielectric immersion fluid (104), and a vacuum-insulated enclosure structure (108) surrounding an inner enclosure containing the components. The method (200) comprises immersing (202) the one or more electrochemical cells in the dielectric immersion fluid, placing (204) the phase change material in thermal communication with the dielectric immersion fluid, enclosing (206) the components within the vacuum-insulated enclosure structure, and maintaining (208) the one or more electrochemical cells within the preservation temperature range through latent heat absorption by the phase change material. FIG. 1 will be the reference figure.
