Abstract: The present disclosure provides a patient lifting device (100) comprising a plurality of inflatable components (110). The outer perimeter of the first portion (175) and the outer perimeter of the second portion (185) are connected so as to define a chamber therein. The patient lifting device (100) further comprises one or more ports (120, 130), each provided through a wall of one of the plurality of inflatable components, and arranged to have connected thereto a removably attachable air pump (150) for moving air between the chamber of the one of the inflatable components and an external environment of the patient lifting device (100).
