Abstract: The present invention describes a novel pediatric toothpaste formulation containing arginine bicarbonate and sodium fluoride designed to prevent enamel erosion and enhance remineralization of primary teeth. The formulation combines the acid-buffering capacity of arginine bicarbonate with the established remineralizing effects of fluoride to create a dual-action preventive dentifrice. Laboratory evaluation using extracted pediatric teeth demonstrated significant improvements in enamel surface microhardness and reductions in surface roughness following treatment. The invention provides an effective preventive strategy against acid-induced enamel erosion in children and represents a promising advancement in pediatric oral healthcare products.
