Abstract: A percussive massage device coupled to a treatment head and including a hand-held housing including a handle and a body. A piston disposed within the body is adapted to be coupled to the treatment head. A motor disposed within the body is adapted to rotate about a shaft. A reciprocation assembly disposed between the piston and the motor couples the piston to the motor such that rotation of the motor drives reciprocal motion of the piston, having a stroke length. A length-changing assembly is associated with the reciprocation assembly, and is adapted to modify a position of the reciprocation assembly relative to the shaft of the motor, thereby to modify the stroke length of the piston. A controller is adapted to activate the motor to cause the piston to reciprocate in accordance with a treatment protocol.
