Abstract: The present project, Design and Fabrication of a Coconut Scraping Machine, was developed to make the coconut scraping process faster, easier, and safer. Traditionally, people use hand scrapers to remove the coconut flesh, which takes a lot of time and effort. It also carries the risk of hand injuries because of the sharp blades. To overcome these problems, this project aims to create a motorized coconut scraping machine that works efficiently with very little manual effort. The machine mainly consists of an electric motor, a rotating blade, a shaft, a supporting frame, and a safety cover. When the motor is turned on, the blade rotates quickly, and the user just needs to hold the half-cut coconut against it. The rotating motion scrapes the coconut evenly and cleanly within a few seconds. The body of the machine is made of mild steel for strength and balance, while the blade is made of stainless steel to avoid rusting and maintain hygiene. The design is compact, easy to carry, and simple to clean after use. Compared to manual scraping, this machine saves a lot of time and effort. It is safe to use, requires less physical work, and can be operated by anyone, even without technical knowledge. The coconut scraping machine can be very helpful in homes, restaurants, temples, hostels, and smallscale industries where coconuts are used regularly.
