Abstract: Abstract Disclosed is a peristaltic pump assembly for controlled delivery of enteral fluid through a flexible feeding tube. The assembly comprises a base plate having a curved tube-receiving path, opposed tube-retaining formations for holding inlet and outlet portions of the tube, and a rotor assembly rotatably mounted with respect to the base plate. The rotor assembly comprises an upper rotor plate, a lower rotor plate, three roller-supporting members, and three rollers positioned to sequentially compress the tube against the curved tube-receiving path. A cover plate confines the rotor assembly against lateral displacement, and a sliding tube-retaining member presses and holds the tube along the curved tube-receiving path for operative alignment with the rollers.
