The" personalized automatic elevator system uses biometric authentication or smart cards to recognize individual passengers and customize the elevator experience. The system consists of a biometric/smartcard reader as the external control. The users can register to the system and once the person scans his identity, it can automatically select the passenger’s destination floor, and provide personalized content on screens inside the elevator. A manual override is also possible if the person wishes to go to a different floor in the internal elevator control. The biometric or the smart card authentication-is integrated with building access control systems. This user-friendly interface provides enhanced user experience with personalized settings, increased efficiency in elevator usage, improved security and access control and higher passenger satisfaction.
