MUMBAI, India, July 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411097243 A) filed by Amit Sharma on December 10, 2024, for Photo Cultivator Device For Synchronizing Light-Activated Proteins To Boost Algal Photosynthesis And Metabolism.

Inventor includes Amit Sharma.

The application for the patent was published on July 24, 2026, under issue no. 30/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a photo cultivator device(100) for synchronizing light-activated proteins to boost algal photosynthesis and metabolism. The photo cultivator device(100) includes a Micro Illumination Controller(102), a bioreactor vessel(104), a cultivator tube(106), an optical density sensor(108), a LED(110), a water bath(112), a copper tube(114), a gas mixing unit(116), an air sparger(118), a temperature regulation system(120), a user interface(122), an embedded processor(124), and a USB interface(126). The photo cultivator device(100) provides enhanced illumination with three-sided light exposure, ensuring uniform photon distribution and significantly improving photosynthetic efficiency in microorganisms. The photo cultivator device(100) provides the micro illumination controller(102) that enables precise control of light pulses at sub-microsecond intervals. The photo cultivator device(100) provides optimized synchronization of light parameters, such as photon flux and wavelength, to enhance algal growth and metabolic performance, while minimizing photodamage to the organisms.
