Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention relates to the physicochemical standardisation and formulation of a poly-herbal tablet for diabetes mellitus. The formulation comprises standardised extracts of Gymnema sylvestre, Momordica charantia, Trigonella foenum-graecum, Azadirachta indica, and Syzygium cumini along with pharmaceutically acceptable excipients. The invention includes extraction, physicochemical evaluation, phytochemical screening, formulation development, tablet compression, and quality evaluation. The formulated tablets exhibit acceptable pharmaceutical properties including hardness, friability, disintegration time, dissolution profile, and stability. The formulation demonstrates significant anti-diabetic activity, antioxidant potential, and improved therapeutic reproducibility suitable for herbal pharmaceutical applications.
