Abstract: An irrigation management system is disclosed for determining irrigation requirements based on plant physiological responses and root-zone soil conditions. The system comprises a plant bioelectrical signal sensing electrode assembly (102), a soil moisture sensing module (104), a soil nutrient sensing module (106), a soil microbiome gas sensing module (108), a signal conditioning and filtering circuit (110), a microcontroller-based processing unit (112), a threshold-based irrigation decision module (114), a communication interface module (116), a relay switching unit (118), an irrigation pump control unit (120), and a water delivery arrangement (122). The processing unit (112) evaluates plant bioelectrical signals, soil moisture information, nutrient-condition information, and microbial gas emissions to determine irrigation requirements. Upon satisfaction of predefined irrigation criteria, the relay switching unit (118) actuates the irrigation pump control unit (120) for supplying water through the water delivery arrangement (122). The system improves irrigation accuracy, reduces unnecessary water consumption, and supports precision agricultural management through integrated monitoring of plant and soil conditions.
