Abstract: Advancements in artificial intelligence and image processing have significantly improved automated disease detection systems in agriculture. This project presents a Plant Disease Detection System using Image Processing and Artificial Intelligence for identifying diseases from plant leaf images. The proposed system uses image preprocessing and Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) based deep learning techniques to analyse leaf images and classify diseases accurately. Images are processed through resizing, filtering, normalization, and feature extraction stages before classification. The system detects diseases based on visible symptoms such as color changes, spots, and texture variations. The predicted results are displayed to the user along with disease information and confidence level. The invention provides a fast, reliable, and cost-effective solution for smart agriculture applications. It supports early disease detection, reduces crop loss, and improves agricultural productivity through automated plant health monitoring systems.
