The platform (100) comprising an artificial intelligence semantic engine (102) to receive a problem statement associated with an industrial entity and generate semantic representations corresponding to the problem statement; a knowledge repository (104) to store representations associated with academic expertise; a blockchain verification layer (106) to create and register a Smart Collaboration Contract (SCC) associated with the industrial entity and an academic entity. The platform (100) is configured to receive and compare the semantic representations with the stored representations associated with the academic expertise; determine a semantic similarity score; generate technology readiness level weighted matching score based on the semantic similarity score and technology readiness level information; identify the academic entity; and initiate registration of the Smart Collaboration Contract (SCC).
