Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention relates to a polyherbal ethosomal formulation comprising biosynthesized silver nanoparticles and standardized Withania somnifera (Ashwagandha) extract for management of burn wounds. The active constituents are encapsulated within phospholipid-based ethosomal vesicles to enhance skin penetration, retention, and therapeutic efficacy. The formulation exhibits potent antimicrobial, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and wound-healing properties. Experimental studies demonstrated enhanced wound contraction, accelerated epithelialization, increased collagen deposition, reduced oxidative stress, and superior tissue regeneration compared with conventional treatments. The formulation may be administered as a gel, cream, hydrogel dressing, film, patch, or spray and provides an effective, safe, and synergistic therapeutic approach for burn wound management.
