Abstract: ABSTRACT PORTABLE 3-D LASER ALIGNER FOR ANALYSIS OF PROSTHETIC AND ORTHOTIC ALIGNMENT AND MEASUREMENT The present invention relates to the field of biomedical engineering, particularly to devices used in prosthetics and orthotics (P&O) for alignment and measurement during casting, fabrication, and adjustment procedures, more specifically, the invention relates to a portable, self-contained laser-based alignment tool that integrates self-levelling orthogonal laser references with a user-adjustable oblique laser line, digital angle measurement, and linear distance measurement, designed to address the practical needs of P&O clinicians and technicians in workshop and clinical settings.
