Abstract: A portable reconfigurable accessibility platform is disclosed for facilitating the multilevel transit of wheeled mobility devices. The apparatus includes a wheel base (1) supporting a pair of protective side walls (2) equipped with safety handrail bars (3). A plurality of articulating stairs (4) are positioned between the side walls (2) and are communicatively regulated by an external control panel (10). Inside the chassis, a drive motor (5) rotates a central sprocket (7) to drive a continuous loop interlinked chain drive (6). The interlinked chain drive (6) interacts with individual tilting hub (8) mechanisms beneath each step, causing the stairs (4) to transform uniformly into a flat continuous incline. Each step plate incorporates a wheelchair (9) retention member acting as a safety wheel chock to mechanically block the wheelchair (9) from rolling backward during ascent.
