The application for the patent was published on June 19, 2026, under issue no. 25/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT The present disclosure relates to portable solar thermal desalination technology. The apparatus (100) produces potable water from saline water using solar energy in a compact, transportable form. The apparatus (100) includes a plurality of transparent cylinder sections (102) that telescope into a nested packed configuration for storage and assemble into a vapor-sealed vapor chamber for operation. A collapsible evaporation bladder (106), bearing a solar-absorptive coating (120) on its collapsible sidewalls, absorbs incident solar radiation transmitted through the cylinder sections (102), converting it into thermal energy that evaporates saline water contained within the bladder (106). A helical condensation channel (110), formed on the interior surface of the cylinder sections (102), collects condensed water vapor and guides condensate downward toward a collection reservoir (112). The collection reservoir (112) receives condensate from the helical condensation channel (110) and dispenses potable water through a dispensing outlet (114), providing a self-contained, field-deployable desalination solution.
