The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT PORTABLE BICYCLE MOUNTED CARDIAC STRESS TESTING APPARATUS The present invention relates to a portable cardiac stress testing apparatus (100) configured to be detachably mounted on a bicycle for performing standardized cardiac stress evaluations. The apparatus (100) comprises a mounting assembly (102), an electronic controller (104), an electronically controllable pedal resistance interface (106), a workload sensing unit (108), a physiological sensing interface (110), and a communication interface (112). The electronic controller (104) generates successive pedal workload targets corresponding to a predefined cardiac stress protocol, controls the pedal resistance interface (106) to achieve the workload targets, receives workload data from the workload sensing unit (108) and physiological measurements from the physiological sensing interface (110), synchronizes the physiological measurements with the workload data to generate a physiological response profile, determines occurrence of predefined physiological conditions, and automatically transitions the apparatus (100) to a recovery state by reducing pedal resistance upon completion of protocol or detection of the predefined physiological conditions.
